U.N. Marwah

Senior Managing Partner

Graduated from St. Stephen College, University of Delhi majoring in Mathematics in 1968 and upon qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 was inducted as a Partner. He has been responsible for and incharge of Business Advisory and Consultancy Services. In his capacity as Business Advisor, he handles matters relating to the setting up of businesses abroad on behalf of Indian Corporate Clients and at the same time setting up branches and offices in India on behalf of Foreign Clients; interacting and liasoning with various officials of the Reserve Bank of India under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) and advising clients on compliance of Direct Tax matters in relation thereto. He specialises in advising and rendering consultancy services to clients in relation to structuring strategic investments, re-structuring activities and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) including cross-border holdings, valuations etc.

Shanti Rewri

Shanti Rewri graduated in Science and then in Mechanical Engineering with a meritorious track record and followed by an MBA degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

Thereafter, he has had an impeccable professional corporate career in reputed organizations, which include 12 years as Managing Director of one of the companies of Forbes Group—A TATA enterprise. Subsequently, he was leading 5 companies of an American Group, MAT Holdings, Inc. in India for 10 years looking after their Corporate Governance and exponential growth and was on the Board of Directors of all these companies.

He has been a highly accomplished senior executive proficient in building new organizations and strategic alliances. He also successfully introduced Enterprise Resource Planning techniques and has handled labour management under severe unionized environments during his career.

He is a life member of Bombay Management Association and a Fellow of Institute of Engineers and has travelled extensively.

Toshihiro Suezawa

Toshihiro Suezawa graduated from the Law and Economics Department of Chiba University and completed Waseda University Graduate School of Finance (MBA).

In the past, Toshihiro has implemented statutory audits, financial DD, SOX law support, fraud investigation, and various consulting at Andersen/Asahi & Co. (Currently KPMG/Azsa LLC) and KPMG FAS. He has also shown his expertise at managing market risks and valuation systems at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.

As a part of GCA Savvian Corporation, He has executed multiple M&A projects from very early phase such as planning investment strategies to PMI (Post Merger Integration).

In 2014, Toshihiro co-founded ASPASIO Co., Ltd to provide various consulting services vis-a-vis Mergers & Acquisition, Business Development Strategies and other allied services.

Gagan Mehrotra

Gagan Mehrotra is a Harvard Alumni and career International Private Banker. He has a deep sense of international financial markets and the inter-linkages between the various components of the financial markets. He specializes in managing international liquid assets, international mortgages and structuring for efficient banking and wealth planning.

Gagan brings deep industry knowledge and diverse experience of more than 20 years in the fields of Corporate Advisory, Wealth Management, Private banking, Capital Advisory and Fintech.

Recently, he has founded Signapp Technologies Pte Ltd., an open loop payment company in Singapore.

Prior to this, Gagan had served as the Executive Director at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore, Executive Director & Senior Private Banker at JP Morgan Chase Bank, Singapore, where he was responsible for managing relations with a diverse client base spread across Singapore, India and UAE and he was also the cluster head at Coutts & Co, Singapore.

In the past, Gagan led the Global Overseas team at RBS Private Bank, India, Wealth Management team at Citi Bank & HDFC Bank Ltd, India and also had a brief stint as Equity Research analyst at ILFS Investment India Ltd. where he worked as a sell side-institutional equity research analyst tracking the Cement and Telecommunication sectors.

Gagan is a post graduate in Business administration from IBS Bangalore and a Bachelor in Science (Chemistry) from Lucknow University, India.

Achal Ghai

Achal is the Founder and Managing Director of Legacy Emirates Group which includes Legacy Smart Employment Services (HR Outsourcing), Azara Capital (VC/Angel Investing and Corporate Finance), Fame Legacy (Tax Consulting) and Legacy Marketing (Art & Trading).

He has been a career banker for over 20 years before becoming an Entrepreneur in 2004 and has business interests in the UAE, India and Canada.

He brings in a lot of expertise in Deal Structuring, Financing and Complex M&A as well as JV transactions across a broad spectrum of industries.

Nikhil Nath

Nikhil is an experienced banker with extensive investment banking experience, especially in the general Industries Sector. His M&A transaction experience include advising leading U.S. and Asian corporations as well as financial sponsors. His capital markets experience, particularly in Asia, includes a balanced mix of equity, equity-linked and high yield transactions.

Nikhil brings with him over 20 years of experience, he served as a Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank, based in Singapore. He was the Co-Head of the General Industries Group in Asia that covered consumer, retail and industrial clients for the bank. He was also responsible for coverage of all industrial and automotive clients of the Bank globally.

Prior to this, he worked as a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for covering the general industries sector for South East Asia and had led the Nomura’s India Investment Banking team based in Mumbai as well as M&A team for Lehman Brothers in India after being a member of Lehman Brothers’ Asia Corporate Finance Group based in Hong Kong.

Nikhil was a part of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Tokyo and has also worked in public accounting for KPMG’s Washington, DC office for 3 years.

Nikhil is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has done MBA from Darden Business School, University of Virginia and is a graduate in commerce from McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia.
